Description
I am a classically trained pianist with diverging interests: 1) Jazz Composition - I love the standards and composing new jazz tunes - I find my voice in the ECM tradition, inspired by pianists like Keith Jarrett, Paul Bley, Marilyn Crispell, John Taylor, Colin Vallon. Also giants like Bill Evans and Fred Hersch. You can expect a thoughtfully created set list. 2) Ambient Music Composition - This involves electronics, and letting synthesizers and sequencers/loopers set audio in motion. I interact with the ambient audio by creating live improvisation on an acoustic instrument, such as piano or bandoneon. You can expect an exploration of sound, stillness, openness and subtle transformation.
