The Buczkowski - Vandenbemden Duo is a powerful and captivating duo. My partner and I have hosted and attended several chamber music concerts, and fully agree Maarten Vandenbemden is the single best guitarist we have seen. Michal is a strong performer; just watching him is entertainment on its own. Together they make for a very interesting and dynamic duo. Their repertoire takes you across Europe. By throwing in a couple of pieces from their respective home countries, the performance becomes an intimate and personal experience. Our audience particularly loved the context they provided to each piece played, bringing the music to live. The artists were very responsive and were happy to stay for a few drinks and interact with the audience.
